Word of Life Christian Center in Newark, Delaware, we desire to be a home away from home. Church should always be an experience and that is exactly what services at Rock Solid Teens are...an experience and an encounter with the Living God. With every service and every event we are building a strong family of young believers who love God and will take Him at His Word.
Rock Solid Teens on the road... Each summer we take the message of the Rock Solid Teens, "We will not be shaken" beyond our four walls and into the world we live. We love to partner with young people from across America and around the world at our award ceremonies and Compassion Comission hosted by
Rock City Church in Baltimore, Maryland. Whether you are near or far, we would love to see you there. Visit our

The Rock Solid teen ministries' purpose is to reach the youth of today and demonstrate the reality and necessity of knowing and living for Jesus Christ in a fun and action-packed environment. We teach on subjects that some may avoid, but that directly impact this teenage generation.
Our goal is to help each teenager answer these questions:
Does God really care about me and my problems?
How can Jesus help my situation? 
Why is knowing Jesus important to me?
Why does He want to know me?
How is Jesus relevant to my generation?
Isn’t He old news?
Isn’t being a Christian just going to church and following a bunch of rules?
How can living for Jesus be fun?
We deal with REAL issues and have a great time doing it! Join us on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month at 7:00pm (unless we schedule an other event to take it's place, see event calender for details) for Rock Solid Youth Night and Sunday mornings at 8:30am and 10:30am. Additional events are scheduled separately, including trips to Acquire the Fire (National Youth Event), Delaware beaches, scavenger hunts, and amusement parks. Yearly mission trips are also made available. Please call for details.
